BMFT narrowly missed out in the final of the World Medical Footbal Championships today against Catalonia. After having dominated much of the first half and netting two early goals from Pranam Patel and Jon Maries, the Catalonians narrowed the deficit just before half time. A last minute equaliser at the end of the game saw the teams fight head to head in a penalty shoot-out where the Catalonians came out victorious 5-4.
The BMFT squad battled valiantly throughout the week and despite several injuries, made it to the final by beating Ausrtalia in the quarter finals and Brazil in the semi-finals. Well done to the entire squad. Congratulations to the Catalonian side on their victory.
